Sorcha and Jackin - To Melt an Icy Heart

Sorcha lived just above her little cafe as many of the shop owners do in Morrison Hollows, it just made sense and made the commute time to work much more pleasant. She had her hair up in a messy bun and an apron on and she was currently running around the kitchen of her little Parisian style coffee shop, Le Profiterole. She was preparing the complimentary waters she always offered to those walking by and walking their dogs. Today she had one that was strawberries and lemons, blueberries, blackberries and raspberrys, and a watermelon peach infused water. She carefully carried the big glass water dispensers out to where she had all her sugar and other supplies for her customers to tend to by themselves. She also retrieved the ceramic dog water dishes and plopped them down as well. With her hands on her hips, she surveyed her little cafe pleased. "To another great day." she said to herself smiling. Sorcha flipped the sign from closed to open and opened up all the windows and the door. Her regulars started to flow in, one after another for their morning coffees and off to their own daily grinds. She made polite chit chat, asking about their families, their pets and any other concerns she knew they had. It was a small town so she basically knew every one that came through. "Good morning Martha, Mary Sue, Ellie and Ms. Daisy. Good to see you're all well and fit as can be! If I didn't know any better I would think some fashion house was holding a fashion week in town and you were all models on you're break!" she grinned as they waved off her compliments. Sorcha had the tea pots prepared for the little old ladies that came to sit in the corner of her shop all day drinking tea, laughing and eating pastries with their friends. Sorcha loved it all. She loved living in Morrison Hollows despite Ana's decision not to come with her. She missed her sister dearly but she had a good life here and there was never a day that went by that she regretted that decision. Plus, there was a very cute shop owner whom served Ice Cream and frozen treats just beyond her own shop. Sorcha was excited to talk to Jackin today. She had something she wanted to ask him and hopefully he'd agree. She'd thought about it for awhile and the little treat she had created with putting a scoop of Jackin's ice cream into her coffee had been such a big hit with her own regulars... it just made economical sense for them to combine shops! That way she could also see the platinum blonde man more readily which she would be very happy about!
